Can "K-Reel" retractable hose reels operate with a pressure pump?

No. All "K-Reel" hose reel units are designed to operate ONLY with ordinary water pressure (i.e.: between 2 and 8.5 bar). Installing a pressure pump would inevitably damage the hose reel unit.

Can "K-Reel" retractable hose reel units operate with steam or detergents?

"K-Reel" hose reel units are designed to operate correctly with potable water at a temperature ranging from 1°C to 65°C. It is not possible to utilize them with steam or hotter water. The rubber hose is certified for use with cold and hot potable water only; if you wish to mix detergents and water, it is necessary to make sure that the resulting mixed fluid will not corrode EPDM rubber. KLARCO is currently testing some detergents for compatibility with the rubber hose and will release specifications as soon as they are available.
